  37.         MISC:Israel is the world leader in medical imaging and laser technology
  38.         for surgery. The Dead Sea, belonging to Israel and Jordan, is the 
  39.         lowest spot on earth. Limited arable land (17%) and natural water 
  40.         resources pose serious constraints. 90% of the work force is organized.
  41.         In 1987 Israel spent about 24% of its central government budget on its 
  42.         military. Both male and females are liable for military service. 
  43.         Declared independence 14 May, 1948. Member of UN since 1949. Uses 
  44.         metric system. Has third party agreement with:US, Canada, G.Britain, 
  45.         Australia, Costa Rico, Panama, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. To obtain a
